Lab Automation Business Analyst / Project Manager (Pharma)
The objective of this project is to define, develop, and implement robust laboratory automation solutions that support operations by minimizing IT dependency risks and maximizing workflow reliability. The focus is to identify and integrate the automation components needed for operational efficiency – ensuring systems can receive all necessary input at the start and run independently of external IT systems during execution. This will be supported through early alignment with stakeholders, precise requirements gathering, and implementation planning that ensures system compatibility with internal infrastructure, security policies, and connectivity standards. Strong documentation practices and attention to detail are essential. Degree in life sciences (preferably biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related disciplines). Hands-on experience in wet lab environments, including direct interaction with lab processes and equipment. Experience with liquid handling robotics and automation workflows. Main Responsibilities Guide and support the logistics-related migration efforts and engage with business stakeholders. Assess simplification items for Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, and Enterprise Asset Management. Architect and design solutions for custom code challenges arising from technical discussions. Formulate solutions for integration issues impacting logistics and Plant Maintenance. Coach various stakeholders on the capabilities and benefits of S/4HANA. Ensure adherence to the scope of a strict brownfield conversion. Key Requirements 8+ years of experience as a Senior Architect and Functional Lead in SAP logistics. Relevant professional certification in SAP logistics. Expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, along with experience in the agile SAP Activate project methodology. Deep understanding of general S/4HANA simplification items.
