Senior Envoy Operations & Platform Support EngineerRole Overview Following the implementation of Envoy, our client requires an experienced consultant to provide operational support, maintenance, platform optimization, and continuity services comparable to commercial enterprise support offerings. Main Responsibilities Operate and maintain the Envoy platform in production. Monitor platform health, performance, and availability. Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis. Manage upgrades, security patches, and configuration changes. Support onboarding of new services and APIs. Optimize Envoy performance and scalability. Maintain observability dashboards and alerting. Participate in incident response and problem management. Produce operational documentation and runbooks. Provide advisory services regarding best practices and future platform improvements. Key Requirements Proven production operations experience with Envoy. Strong Kubernetes administration experience. Experience with: High Availability platforms Kubernetes networking Ingress/Gateway solutions TLS and certificate management Prometheus, Grafana, Loki OpenTelemetry GitOps workflows Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
