Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support a strategic sensor conversion initiative within our client's booster pump portfolio. This is a 2.5-3 month consultancy assignment, where you will play a key role in defining future sensor concepts, evaluating technologies and suppliers, and aligning stakeholders across multiple business divisions. The assignment requires a self-driven professional who can work independently, navigate a broad stakeholder landscape, and translate technical and business requirements into a clear concept ready for decision-making. Responsibilities: Clarify, consolidate, and document sensor requirements across the booster pump portfolio. Drive stakeholder alignment across relevant business units and challenge assumptions when needed. Assess portfolio needs and define suitable sensor concepts aligned with the client's sensor strategy. Scout and evaluate relevant sensor technologies, with a focus on industrial applications and pressure sensing solutions. Analyze the supplier landscape and identify potential technology partners. Support technical evaluation and recommendation of solution concepts for future implementation. Contribute to the preparation of a booster sensor concept, including product segmentation and integration principles, ready for key project decision gates. Qualifications: B.Sc. degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 5-7+ years of experience within product development, systems engineering, industrial technology, or related fields. Experience with pressure sensors, sensor technologies, or industrial applications is highly desirable. Proven experience in requirements engineering and translating business needs into technical requirements. Experience conducting technology scouting, market research, and supplier evaluations. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage across functions and business areas. Ability to work independently, drive activities forward, and make structured recommendations with limited supervision. Comfortable leading technical discussions with suppliers and external partners. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to complex challenges. We are looking for an experienced Senior Project / Programme Manager to support our client in a large and complex initiative within Financial Crime Prevention and KYC. The consultant will play a key role in coordinating activities across the full KYC value chain, working across business, technology, risk & compliance, and operations. Key responsibilities: You will be responsible for driving and coordinating initiatives related to: Updating group processes and procedures and ensuring successful adoption within the relevant pension business, covering customer onboarding, ongoing due diligence and related KYC processes. Developing tactical solutions and tools to support KYC activities until migration to the client’s strategic KYC platform is completed.
