Lokation: RandersOn behalf of a client within the manufacturing industry, we are looking for a senior IT Application Consultant to support the selection and implementation of a new business-critical application. The application will support a core operational process used daily across multiple sites, making stability, usability, and stakeholder alignment critical. The assignment is in an early analysis phase, and you will be involved from start to finish - from shaping requirements and evaluating solution options to supporting implementation, go-live and hypercare. The role sits at the intersection of business and IT and requires strong on-site presence and hands-on engagement with operational stakeholders. Key responsibilities Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process analyses to identify business needs and pain points Document as-is and to-be processes Assess the existing application landscape and identify improvement opportunities Translate business needs into clear system requirements Conduct gap analyses and contribute to system evaluations and recommendations Prepare decision material and present options to key stakeholders and management Support implementation activities including requirements clarification, testing, UAT, and training Contribute to change management and continuous optimisation of processes and system usage Consultant profile 8+ years of experience as an IT consultant, application consultant, business analyst, or similar role Experience supporting system selection or evaluation processes Strong background in business analysis, process understanding, and requirements definition Experience working at the interface between business and IT Solid understanding of applications, integrations, and data flows Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly at a business-oriented level Experience producing requirements documentation and decision material Background from manufacturing, production or other operational environments Ability to challenge existing processes in a constructive and pragmatic way Practical details Location: Primarily on-site in Randers, with travel expected during the assignment Duration: Approx. 12 months Start: As soon as possible Language: Danish and English
