Senior candidates at lower-than-normal rates is also relevant. The Project Manager role is critical for leading IT projects, utilizing agile and waterfall methodologies to ensure successful delivery and alignment with client needs and contractual obligations. Responsibilities: Manage IT projects independently, applying agile and scrum principles. Facilitate agile processes and maintain strong collaboration with customers and internal teams. Oversee complex project progress while mitigating risks and dependencies. Ensure resource and cost management aligns with contractual requirements. Utilize stakeholder management skills to engage and inform all parties involved. Analyze and comprehend complex challenges and customer needs. Develop and maintain Mainframe solutions supporting the Securities Trading area. Analyze existing solutions and translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions. Work with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and MQ in the IBM z/OS environment. Participate in development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Contribute to regulatory and mandatory deliveries affecting Securities Trading. Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, architects, QA, and other development teams. Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards for software quality and maintainability. Contribute to technical documentation and systematic knowledge sharing.
