Introduction & Summary: The Data Architect will be responsible for enterprise data architecture, designing conceptual and logical data models that guide various data transformations at the client. This role emphasizes the creation of enterprise-wide data models, information blueprints, and naming standards that enhance accessibility and trustworthiness of information for analytical insights and AI innovations. Main Responsibilities: The successful candidate will lead enterprise information architecture design and oversee the creation of data models that align with business capabilities. Leading enterprise information architecture design and creating semantic, conceptual, logical models. Architecting domain data models for commerce, manufacturing, and supply chain. Designing data product interfaces and semantic contracts for interoperability. Developing semantic layer architectures for self-service analytics. Reviewing data architectural blueprints for core application transformation. Co-creating master data management strategies for various domains. Establishing data quality measures and modeling standards. Reviewing key physical model proposals for alignment with enterprise information data models. Designing information value chains with clear contracts for analytics consumption. Providing architectural oversight through design reviews and decision records. Key Requirements: 5-7+ years as a practicing data architect with proven enterprise-scale architectures. Domain expertise in commerce, manufacturing, or supply chain data models. Experience architecting shared data models in modern lakehouse patterns. Knowledge of both traditional dimensional and modern data mesh/lakehouse patterns. Understanding of Azure data platform capabilities. Track record guiding teams through major digital transformations. Ability to create semantic layers and logical models for business adoption. Experience establishing master data management patterns and data governance frameworks. Excellence in stakeholder communication. Collaborative leadership style to guide teams towards optimal decisions. Nice to Have: Experience establishing reusable patterns and reference architectures. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive data platform solutions across our Data platform stack, including Azure Synapse and Databricks environments. This hands-on architectural role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions while collaborating with lead engineers. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation project in collaboration with internal stakeholders and technical specialists.
