Senior AS400 / AIX Architect We are looking for an experienced AS400 (IBM i) Architect with strong AIX competencies to support and further develop our clients enterprise infrastructure landscape. The consultant will play a key architectural role, ensuring stability, scalability, and modernization of the AS400 and AIX environments. Main Responsibilities Act as architectural lead for AS400 (IBM i) and AIX platforms Design, maintain, and optimize AS400 and AIX infrastructure solutions Provide architectural guidance on system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives Ensure high availability, performance, security, and compliance of the platforms Collaborate with operations, application teams, and external vendors Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support Document architecture, standards, and best practices Support capacity planning and long-term roadmap definition Key Requirements Strong hands-on and architectural experience with AS400 / IBM i Strong experience with AIX operating systems Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture Experience with system integration, performance tuning, and high-availability setups Ability to work independently and take ownership of architectural decisions Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice to Have Experience in large enterprise or logistics environments Knowledge of modernization or migration projects involving legacy platforms Familiarity with security, compliance, and enterprise governance standards Other Details This role requires a minimum of 3 days onsite per week in Greater Copenhagen Area, with remaining days remote.
